Refurbishment of Lloyd Loom Ottoman

Hayley (Chair Lady) was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. After an initial home visit to discuss fabrics and refurbishment requirements, Hayley collected, re-upholstered and delivered my antique piece of bedroom furniture.

Hayley made the whole process so easy with her expert knowledge of fabrics, design and bespoke refurbishment techniques. As a result of this excellent service, I have commissioned Hayley to carry out the re-upholster of an antique chair I inherited and I anticipate that I will be using her again in the future.

She delivers a professional and attentive service which is second to none.

Victoria Elbow Chair

Refurbishing my car-boot sale nursing chair "project" proved to be way beyond my skills, so I approached Hayley to help me out.

She was brilliant from Day #1 right through to handing over the finished goods. The initial call was very friendly; with Hayley setting expectations on what was possible, outlining potential challenges and giving a rough costing. She agreed to take a look at the chair and was then able to provide a more accurate estimate. She was very happy to help with fabrics - offering a number of choices together with the ability to provision them. In the end we went with a fabric I supplied once she had confirmed its suitability. Hayley also explained the range of finishing options, answering all my questions. In addition, she offered to bring the wood components up from their dilapidated state.

On collection a short time later, I hardly recognised the chair - the re-upholstery was perfect, the wood (three coats of wax) was better than I could have expected and the fabric was perfectly matched up to the chair's original design. Honestly... I couldn't have been happier and it now occupies pride of place in my bedroom.

I'm extremely happy to recommend Hayley with no reservation whatsoever.
